The ideal candidate will have experience in home care and a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for individuals with varying needs, including those with disabilities and dementia. This role requires a blend of hands on skills, empathy, and the ability to work independently while ensuring patient safety and comfort. Responsibilities Deliver high-quality care to clients in their homes or assisted living environments. Provide assistance with daily living activities, including meal preparation, personal hygiene, light housekeeping and mobility support. Offer support for patients with dementia or disabilities, employing specialized techniques for effective communication and care. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. Collaborate with family members and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans. Perform first aid when necessary, ensuring patient safety at all times. Requirements Strong knowledge of patient observation techniques and ability to recognize changes in health status. Experience working with individuals with disabilities and providing dementia care is highly desirable. Proficient in first aid is required. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently. Compassionate demeanor with a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
