Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in need of personal care and daily living support. This vital role involves fostering a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment, ensuring each person's well-being and dignity are prioritized. As a Caregiver, you will play a key part in enhancing quality of life through attentive care, active engagement, and personalized support tailored to each individual's unique needs. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve while working within a supportive team environment. Responsibilities Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Monitor patient health by observing vital signs, symptoms, and overall condition; promptly report changes to healthcare professionals Support medication administration following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and safety Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary requirements and assist with meal consumption as needed Maintain cleanliness of living spaces through regular cleaning, laundry, and organization to promote hygiene and comfort Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident's personal assistive devices to ensure safe transfers and mobility assistance Document care activities accurately in compliance with healthcare standards and care plans Provide emotional support, companionship, and social engagement to foster a positive environment for residents or clients Requirements Prior experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes is highly preferred Knowledge of patient observation techniques and dementia or Alzheimer's care is essential Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training are advantageous Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work with residents requiring specialized mobility assistance Experience working with people with developmental disabilities, autism, or memory care needs is desirable Strong communication skills for effective interaction with residents, families, and healthcare teams Compassionate attitude with a commitment to providing respectful, person-centered care Join us as a Caregiver if you're passionate about making a positive impact through dedicated service.
