10p-6a Caregiver/ RA

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver/Residential Aide (RA) to provide high-quality care and support to individuals in various settings, including group homes, assisted living facilities, and private residences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients while ensuring their safety and well-being. This role requires a blend of personal care skills, patience, and the ability to work effectively with individuals with diverse needs. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients. Monitor and document vital signs and changes in client health status. Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences. Implement care plans tailored to individual client needs. Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks. Engage clients in social activities that promote mental stimulation and physical activity. Provide specialized care for individuals with Alzheimer's, dementia, or developmental disabilities. Skills First aid and CPR certification preferred. Experience in group home settings or assisted living facilities is highly desirable. Strong patient observation skills to detect changes in health or behavior. Ability to perform heavy lifting when assisting clients with mobility. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality. Experience in home health, hospice care, or long-term care settings is a plus. Familiarity with meal preparation and dietary needs for seniors or individuals with disabilities. Proficient in patient monitoring techniques and vital sign assessment. Compassionate approach towards caregiving, particularly for individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
