Job Description

Overview Join our dedicated caregiving team as a 2p-10p Caregiver, where your compassionate support and attentive care make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve. This rewarding role involves providing personalized assistance to residents during afternoon and evening hours, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor residents' health status by observing vital signs and reporting any changes promptly Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed, adhering to care plans and dietary restrictions Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning resident areas and laundry Support residents with medication reminders and ensure proper documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations Use specialized equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident's to assist with mobility and transfers safely Engage residents in social activities and provide companionship to promote mental well-being Requirements Prior experience in assisted living, home health, nursing home, or group home settings is highly preferred Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, hospice care, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is advantageous Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training are a plus Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and recognizing changes in resident condition Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and family members Valid experience working with individuals with autism or disabilities is beneficial Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to all safety protocols Embark on a fulfilling career where your dedication directly enhances the quality of life for others.
