Job Description
Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to a young man in need of personal care and daily living support. This vital role involves fostering independence, ensuring safety, and enhancing quality of life for the client across various care settings. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm & patience. This paid position offers an opportunity to work with the client in a private home, with a focus on delivering personalized, respectful care. Duties Observe and monitor the client's conditions regularly, noting any changes or concerns. Engage with client. Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, meal prep, etc. Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols while maintaining HIPAA compliance to protect patient confidentiality. Maintain cleanliness through light housekeeping tasks including laundry and general cleaning to promote a safe and comfortable environment. Experience Prior experience is highly desirable Proven ability to work with individuals with disabilities. CNA/CPR certified preferred. Reliable transportation a must!
