The Home Health Aide will provide quality in-home care and daily living assistance to clients while promoting comfort, dignity, and independence. Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, monitoring client conditions, medication reminders, companionship, and supporting clients with mobility and daily routines. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, dependable, and committed to delivering exceptional care in a safe and supportive home environment. Job Description Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and hygiene support. Assist clients with mobility, transfers, ambulation, and positioning. Prepare meals and assist with feeding when necessary. Monitor and document client condition, vital signs, and daily activities. Provide medication reminders and assist with medication administration as directed. Offer companionship and emotional support to clients. Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, cleaning, and organizing the client's living space. Support clients with dementia or Alzheimer's care through patience and structured routines. Maintain accurate documentation using EMR/EHR systems when required. Follow all safety procedures, infection control standards, and HIPAA regulations. Communicate effectively with family members, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding client needs and condition changes. Qualifications Previous experience in home health care, caregiving, assisted living, or a related field preferred. CPR certification required. Knowledge of basic patient care, safety procedures, and medical terminology. Experience with dementia care, hospice care, catheter care, or Hoyer lift assistance is an advantage. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Compassionate, dependable, and patient-centered attitude. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Physical ability to lift, move, and assist clients safely. Familiarity with EMR/EHR documentation systems is a plus. Must be legally authorized to work and able to pass background screening requirements.
Pay:
$300.00 per day
