Job Description

Overview Join our compassionate team as a Personal Caregiver, where your dedication and skills will make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring assistance with daily activities. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to provide personalized care, promote independence, and enhance quality of life for residents in various care settings. Whether working in assisted living, home health, or group homes, you'll be a vital part of a supportive environment that values empathy, professionalism, and proactive support. Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by checking vital signs, observing changes in condition, and reporting findings to healthcare professionals Support medication administration following prescribed guidelines while maintaining HIPAA compliance to ensure privacy and confidentiality Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption as needed Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning tasks and proper infection control procedures Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident's to ensure safe transfers and mobility assistance Document care plans, patient observations, and incident reports accurately to support ongoing care delivery and compliance Requirements Prior experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes is highly preferred Certification in First Aid and CPR is required; additional training in Alzheimer's care, dementia care, or hospice care is a plus Demonstrated ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or memory impairments Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and confidentiality at all times Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with resident transfers using equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident's Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and recognizing changes in condition or behavior Compassionate attitude with excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and families Join us in creating a caring environment where every individual receives respectful, attentive support. $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
