This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children, seniors, or individuals with disabilities by fostering a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment. The ideal candidate will be energetic, patient, and committed to promoting independence and well-being through attentive caregiving and tailored activities. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to ensure comfort and safety. Provide engaging companionship through conversation, recreational activities, and emotional support to enhance quality of life. Support children's development by implementing age-appropriate educational activities, playtime, and routines aligned with early childhood education principles. Administer basic first aid when necessary and respond promptly to emergencies following established safety protocols. Collaborate with families, teachers, or healthcare professionals to develop personalized care plans that meet individual needs. Maintain accurate records of care provided, behavioral observations, and any incidents or concerns. Foster a positive environment that encourages growth, learning, and emotional well-being for all clients. Skills Proven experience working with children or individuals with disabilities in settings such as daycare, preschool, or caregiving environments. Knowledge of childhood development stages and behavior management techniques. Certification in first aid and CPR to ensure safety during emergencies. Strong understanding of early childhood education practices and classroom experience. Ability to provide toddler and infant care with patience and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with children, families, and team members. Demonstrated caregiving skills including nurturing, patience, adaptability, and compassion.
