In this vital role, you will assist residents or clients with daily activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help create a nurturing environment that promotes independence and quality of life for those you serve. This paid position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring personalized care and assistance. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences Monitor residents' health by taking vital signs and observing for any changes in condition Support medication administration following care plans and HIPAA privacy regulations Maintain cleanliness of living spaces through thorough cleaning and sanitation practices Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts to safely transfer residents with mobility challenges Provide compassionate companionship and engage residents in social activities to promote mental well-being Document care activities accurately, including patient observations, medication logs, and incident reports Follow all safety protocols, including CPR and first aid procedures, to ensure resident safety at all times Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement personalized care plans for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's, or developmental disabilities Requirements Prior experience in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home & community care settings is highly desirable Proficient in Vietnamese Language Knowledge of patient monitoring techniques and vital signs measurement Certification in CPR and first aid is required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training are a plus Experience working with individuals with disabilities, autism, dementia, or memory care needs is preferred Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and use assistive devices like Hoyer lifts effectively Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and family members while maintaining confidentiality under HIPAA regulations Compassionate attitude with a commitment to providing respectful and patient-centered care Flexibility to work various shifts as needed in a dynamic caregiving environment Join us in creating a warm, supportive atmosphere where every individual receives the attentive care they deserve.
