Full Job Description Pay:
$15.00•$20.00 per hour Job description: Job Summary Join our compassionate team as an In-Home Caregiver, providing vital support to individuals in their own homes during morning and afternoon shifts. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those recovering from illness or injury. As a caregiver, you will deliver personalized care, promote independence, and ensure safety while fostering a warm and respectful environment. Your dedication will help clients maintain their dignity and quality of life in the comfort of their homes. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal planning and cooking. Monitor patients' vital signs and observe their overall health status, reporting any changes or concerns promptly. Administer medications accurately following care plans and HIPAA privacy regulations. Support clients with mobility using equipment such as Hoyer lifts or assistive devices, ensuring safe transfer techniques. Maintain detailed documentation of care provided, patient observations, and any incidents in compliance with healthcare standards. Engage in light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment to promote well-being. Skills Proven experience in home health, assisted living, nursing home care, or group home settings. Knowledge of patient monitoring, medication administration, and vital signs measurement. Certification in CPR and First Aid; experience with hospice or dementia care is a plus. Strong ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or Alzheimer's disease. Excellent communication skills for effective patient observation and collaboration with healthcare teams. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate mobility aids like Hoyer lifts when necessary. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality at all times.
