Day Respite Caregiver

In this unique opportunity, you will accompany an adult with developmental or intellectual disabilities and provide a supportive and inclusive environment that promotes independence, dignity, and community engagement. About the Role As a Shared Living Respite Caregiver, you will support a female individual with daily living activities while fostering a safe, stable, and enriching environment. Schedule:

30 hours/week with flexibility

Compensation:

$20/hour (taxable) •Housing on Nantucket is not provided•Responsibilities Provide a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment Assist with daily living skills such as cooking, hygiene, and daily living skills Support medical and personal care needs (as needed) Facilitate community involvement, socialization, and recreational activities Maintain documentation and communicate regularly with the KDC care team Collaborate with case managers and clinical staff to support individual goals Support Ongoing training and 24/7 support from KDC staff Access to clinical and case management guidance Who This is Great For Caregivers or human service professionals College Students Empty nesters or retirees Individuals looking to make an impact Anyone with a passion for supporting individuals with disabilities Why Choose KDC?
