Relief staff work on a per diem basis. You work when you have the availability to pick up an open shift. Day, evening and over night shifts available. Our relief staff openings are a great opportunity for people with a passion for working with individuals with disabilities and looking for part time work. Relief staff provide direct care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. In this role you will offer guidance, hands-on assistance, instruction, and implement individuals' support plans to help program participants attain independence and integration in the community. Salary $19.89 an hour or $20.91 with

Overnight Shift Essential Job Functions:
Actively Advocate for individuals served demonstrating the Agency's values and mission in all interactions Leveraging your knowledge and interests in the community to empower individuals and enhance their quality of life Implement Individual Service Plans Assist individuals with Activities of Daily living, including household tasks and chores Assist individuals with appointments, including driving the Agency's van Present in a respectful and professional manner in all interaction Attend all trainings and implement knowledge throughout your work Communicate in an effective manner whether orally or written
Qualifications:
Highschool diploma or GED Active and valid driver's license Ability to pass background checks Ability to lift to 50lbs and sustained periods of sitting or standing Ability to assist in a restraint if needed Experience in substance abuse or mental health preferred The Arc is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate in its selection and employment practices.
