This role offers weekly pay and provides an engaging opportunity to deliver exceptional home and community care. As a Caregiver, you will support individuals with diverse needs, fostering independence, safety, and comfort in their daily routines. Your proactive approach and caring nature will help create a nurturing environment that promotes well-being and dignity for all residents. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to ensure comfort and hygiene. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs, supporting overall health and wellness. Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to track health status accurately. Administer medications following care plans while adhering to HIPAA regulations to maintain confidentiality. Support residents during mobility using equipment like Hoyer lifts or assisting with heavy lifting to ensure safety during transfers. Conduct patient observation and monitor for changes in condition or behavior, especially in individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease. Maintain detailed documentation of care provided, update care plans regularly, and communicate effectively with healthcare teams. Engage in light cleaning duties to uphold a safe and sanitary environment within the residence or community setting. Provide emotional support through compassionate communication, especially for individuals with developmental disabilities or autism. Follow all safety protocols including CPR and first aid procedures to respond promptly during emergencies. Experience Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, group homes, or home health environments is highly preferred. Demonstrated ability to work with individuals with disabilities, dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other memory care needs. Knowledge of medication administration, patient monitoring, and vital signs measurement is essential. Experience with care plans development and implementation ensures personalized support for each resident. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations guarantees confidentiality and respectful handling of sensitive information. Previous roles involving hospice care or working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities are advantageous.
