Full Job Description Description:
The Direct Care Staff assist with the operations of shelters and help to ensure safety and security. The Direct Care Staff assists with meeting the immediate needs of guests in the shelters. Maintain an approachable and engaging attitude toward guests and visitors for support and helping with needs. Assist with supervising the nightly and weekend management and maintenance of facilities; ensuring cleanliness, safety, and security. Assist with managing emergencies and provides brief crisis management. Supervise meal preparation and distribution of food and supplies; assigns guest chores and monitors performance. Complete necessary documentation by the end of each shift; identifying and documenting problems among guests or with the shelter facility, status sheets, referrals, donations, and petty cash transactions. Process and complete intake, resident contract, and release of information forms for guests as needed. Document, organize, and sort clean donations received.

Monday-Friday - 4:00pm to 12:00am
Shift:
Monday-Friday - 12:00am to 8:00am
Requirements:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Basic computer skills required. Ability to speak Spanish is highly preferred. Previous experience in Human Services preferred.
