Job Description
Job Summary:
- Bay-CSS is seeking a compassionate and responsible Glen Burnie Residential Direct Support Professional (DSP) for a part-time role with benefits eligibility. The position involves providing support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting during specified shifts, including Sunday 7am
- 3pm, Thursday 11pm
- 9am, and Friday & Saturday 11pm
- 7am.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and car insurance Ability to lift at least 50lbs Successful completion of a background check Willingness to attend and complete all required training within specified timeframes Previous experience in a similar role preferred
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with daily living activities, such as meal preparation, personal care, and light housekeeping Provide emotional support and companionship to residents Maintain a safe and clean living environment Follow individual care plans and document any changes or incidents Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and residents' families Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times •
