Baltimore, MD Job Details 1 day ago Benefits Paid training Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Job Summary The Direct Care Associate (DCA) provides direct support services to individuals enrolled in the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP). The DCA assists clients with developing daily living skills, coping strategies, social skills, and community integration while supporting individualized rehabilitation goals. Responsibilities and Duties Provide direct supportive services to PRP clients in home, community, school, or office settings Assist clients with developing independent living and social skills Support clients with goal setting, coping strategies, emotional regulation, and daily functioning Implement rehabilitation plans and interventions under supervision Monitor client progress and document services accurately and timely Assist clients with accessing community resources and appointments Provide encouragement, mentoring, and emotional support Support crisis prevention and de-escalation when needed Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations Communicate effectively with supervisors, therapists, families, and treatment teams Ensure client safety and promote a positive therapeutic environment Qualifications and Skills High school diploma or GED required Associate's degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, or related field preferred Experience working with individuals with mental health or behavioral health needs preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and maintain professionalism Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred Ability to pass background check and drug screening Preferred Skills Knowledge of psychiatric rehabilitation and recovery-oriented services Experience with children, adolescents, or adults with behavioral health challenges Crisis intervention and de-escalation skills Compassionate, patient, and team-oriented attitude Company Benefits and Perks Competitive pay Flexible scheduling Paid training opportunities Professional growth and advancement Supportive work environment E04JI802nbp4409707h
