Live-In Caregiver & Permanent Housing C&E Supportive Living Baltimore, MD Job Details Full-time Up to $1,000 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications CPR Certification BLS Certification CPR Full Job Description Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live-In Caregiver to provide exceptional in-home care for individuals requiring assistance with daily activities and medical needs. This vital role involves delivering personalized support in a home environment, ensuring safety, comfort, and dignity for clients. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to enhancing the quality of life for those they serve. This position offers the unique opportunity to build meaningful relationships while making a positive impact on clients' well-being. Duties Monitor patient observation to identify changes in health status and respond promptly Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Administer medications accurately following medical documentation and protocols Operate Electronic Health Record (EHR) or Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems to document care activities and medical records Support clients with Alzheimer's care, dementia care, memory care, and hospice needs with patience and sensitivity Use medical terminology appropriately when communicating health information Perform vital signs checks such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates Assist with catheter care, wound management, and other specialized medical tasks like Hoyer lift operation Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary restrictions and assist with meal preparation Maintain a clean and safe environment through light housekeeping tasks including laundry and cleaning Support home & community care needs by coordinating transportation or community activities when necessary Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure confidentiality of patient information at all times Experience Prior experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments preferred Demonstrated ability working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities in general Long-term care experience is highly valued, especially in senior care or hospice settings Familiarity with medical documentation systems such as EHR or EMR platforms Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration procedures, and vital signs monitoring CPR certification required; additional certifications such as hospice care or dementia training are a plus Experience operating assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts or other mobility aids preferred Join our team to provide compassionate, professional caregiving that truly makes a difference!
