Job Requires and Non Negotiables:
schedule is Monday
  • Friday, Arrive at 8am on Monday and leaving at 5:30 pm on Friday
  • must have transport and the ability to legally drive
  • good with pets open to being around and helping with pets; Client has a dog.
  • Sociable female caregiver; client requested a female caregiver who is extroverted, sociable and capable of doing activies to keep the client occupied
  • Dementia training/ knowledge; Caregiver must have knowledge of dementia procedures or a base understanding (we will go over training and any extra needs from the company side after hire)
  • Basic ADL (such as but not limited to bathing, dressing, meal prep, etc) Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live-In Caregiver to provide exceptional in-home support and care for our client in Chevy Chase, MD.
This role involves delivering personalized assistance that promotes independence, safety, and well-being along with dementia care. As a Live-In Caregiver, you will be the primary caregiver residing in the client's home, ensuring continuous, attentive care tailored to our client's unique requirements. Your energetic approach and proactive attitude will help create a warm, supportive environment that enhances quality of life for those you serve. We are seeking someone who is capable of completing the full range of caregiving for this client, who we and the clients family can trust will be capable of meeting the client and their family's wishes for a comfortable and well cared for time with us. the client is in search of someone who can be sociable and extroverted and accomodate the client in many way, like that of washing, dressing, house and animal up keep. Duties Provide comprehensive care for client, including assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by observing vital signs, tracking symptoms, and reporting changes to healthcare professionals promptly Administer tasks of client's Plan of Care accurately following care plans guidlines and requirements, and HIPAA regulations to ensure safety and compliance Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary needs and preferences, maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards follow guidelines and procedures carefully and safely to prevent injury Maintain detailed documentation of care activities, patient progress, and incident reports in accordance with company and state healthcare protocols Support residents' emotional well-being through companionship, engaging activities, and respectful communication Qualifications Prior experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes or group homes is highly preferred Certification in First Aid and CPR required; additional training in dementia, Alzheimer's or hospice care is a plus Demonstrated ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism or memory impairments such as Alzheimer's or dementia, also a major plus. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations ensuring confidentiality of patient information Physical stamina for heavy lifting and assisting residents with mobility challenges Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and recognizing changes in condition or behavior Experience working with care plans, medication schedules (for reminders), and vital signs measurement necessary for delivering high-quality patient care Join us in making a meaningful difference!
