DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a compassionate, proactive, and personable caregiver to join our team. The ideal candidate truly enjoys connecting with people, especially seniors, and is attentive to their physical, emotional, and social needs. This role is perfect for someone who is engaging, patient, and able to provide meaningful companionship while supporting clients with daily activities both at home and in the community.
Responsibilities:
Provide compassionate companionship and meaningful engagement with clients Assist with activities of daily living such as dressing, grooming, meal preparation, and light housekeeping Support clients living with memory loss, including dementia and Alzheimer's Encourage participation in conversation, activities, and routines that promote well-being Accompany clients to doctor's appointments, errands, and community outings Assist with transportation for appointments, grocery shopping, and social activities Observe and report any changes in a client's condition or behavior Maintain a safe, respectful, and comfortable environment for clients
Ideal Candidate:
Proactive and attentive to client needs Warm, personable, and naturally engaging Experience with memory care, dementia, or Alzheimer's care preferred Patient, dependable, and compassionate Comfortable accompanying clients on outings and appointments Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to build trusting relationships with clients and families
