Personal Care Aide (PCA)- CMT NEEDED

Hiring Personal Care Assistant (13 hours /week) Weekends only 10am-4:30pm Provides in-home companionship, medication reminders, and housekeeping services. Assists with feeding, dressing and bathing. Assists clients to live in clean, safe environment, light housekeeping Assist with Personal errands, per client and Agency request. Documents care given and pertinent observations accurately as directed by the Care Plan/Nursing Supervisor. Knows and follows infection control protocols including proper hand washing techniques. Maintains appropriate communication with the Nursing Supervisor (written and verbal) and with all members of the interdisciplinary team. Treats clients and families with respect. Maintains confidentiality. Accepts and fulfills assignments Participate in Agency Training as needed

Qualifications:

Be eighteen (18) years of age. Demonstrate ability to read, write, and follow a written Plan of Care and document tasks performed. Be self-directed and work with minimal supervision. Demonstrate dependability, tact, patience, and the ability to follow instructions. Demonstrate good interpersonal communication skills. Have experience in cooking, cleaning, laundry, and shopping. First Aid and CPR Certification Able to pass a criminal background check and no history of abuse/neglect
