Job Description

Job Summary Bilingual Caregiver (Spanish & English) - Germantown, MD 20874 (7 Hrs every Sunday) Recurrent. We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for residents in a home health settings. This role requires patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to caregiving. The Location is Germantown, MD 20874 Monitor the health and well-being of residents, ensuring their safety and comfort. Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a positive environment. Uphold resident rights while maintaining confidentiality and dignity at all times. Assist with mobility needs, including lifting or transferring residents safely. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including nurses and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care. Document care provided and report any changes in resident conditions to appropriate personnel. Qualifications Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as home health or assisted living is preferred. Knowledge of patient monitoring techniques and vital signs assessment is advantageous. Strong understanding of resident rights and the ability to advocate for them effectively. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others. Ability to lift and assist residents as needed while following safety protocols. Certification in CPR/First Aid is a plus but not mandatory.
