Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to individuals in need, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, promoting independence, and fostering a positive environment. The Support Worker will work closely with clients to enhance their quality of life through personalized care and support. Responsibilities Provide direct support to clients in various settings, including senior care facilities and private homes. Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Monitor clients' health and well-being by performing regular patient monitoring and reporting any changes to the appropriate personnel. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations while handling sensitive client information. Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' mental well-being. Administer basic first aid and CPR when necessary; maintain a safe environment for clients. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and other caregivers to develop and implement care plans tailored to individual needs. Maintain accurate records of client progress and care provided. Experience Previous experience in caregiving or direct support roles is preferred; experience in senior care is a plus. Familiarity with patient monitoring techniques and basic health care practices. Knowledge of CPR and First Aid certification is highly desirable. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members. Ability to cook nutritious meals that cater to dietary restrictions or preferences of clients.
