Resident Aide Madonna Heritage Assisted Living Home Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Resident Aide to join our weekend team every other weekend to provide exceptional care to individuals in our facility. The Resident Aide will play a crucial role in supporting residents with daily activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This position is ideal for individuals who have a passion for working with people with, dementia care, and those in assisted living environments. Responsibilities Provide direct support to residents, assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Engage residents in social activities and recreational programs to promote mental and emotional well-being. Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents by following health and safety protocols. Lift and transfer residents safely as needed while ensuring their dignity and comfort. Document resident progress and any changes in behavior or health status accurately. Skills Experience in direct support roles, particularly with individuals who have dementia care experience is preferred, but we do offer on the job training. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and team members. Empathy and patience when working with individuals requiring personal care. Ability to lift and assist residents safely while adhering to best practices in caregiving. Pay:

$16.00 - $20.00 per hour
