Job Description
Overview Join our dedicated team as a Caregiver and make a meaningful difference in the life of an adult female client requiring supportive care. This rewarding role involves providing compassionate, attentive assistance while ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment. You will play a vital role in promoting independence, dignity, and overall well-being by assisting with daily living activities, monitoring safety, and offering consistent emotional support. We are committed to fostering a positive atmosphere where caregivers feel valued and supported in their essential work. Responsibilities Provide attentive, one-on-one care to an adult female client, ensuring safety at all times, particularly due to fall risk Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Offer standby or hands-on assistance with ambulation and transfers to prevent falls and injuries Provide timely medication reminders and ensure adherence to prescribed schedules Monitor and report any changes in the client's physical condition, behavior, or overall well-being Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free environment to support safety and fall prevention Support meal preparation and assist with feeding when necessary, ensuring proper nutrition and hydration Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the client's quality of life Follow individualized care plans and collaborate with family members and healthcare professionals Respond appropriately in emergency situations and follow established safety protocols, including first aid procedures Qualifications Prior experience in caregiving, home care, or working with adults requiring personal assistance is highly preferred Knowledge of fall prevention strategies and safe transfer techniques Experience assisting with ADLs and medication reminders Certification in CPR and First Aid (or willingness to obtain upon hire) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to demonstrate patience, compassion, and professionalism at all times Experience working with individuals with mobility limitations or chronic conditions is a plus Reliable, attentive, and committed to providing high-quality care We are excited to welcome compassionate caregivers who are dedicated to enhancing the safety, independence, and well-being of those in their care.
