Seeking bilingual (Urdu) Caregiver ($100 Bonus) Silver Spring, MD 20905 $17.50 - $20.50 an hour - Part-time $17.50 - $20.50 an hour - Part-time Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated bilingual (Urdu) Caregiver to join our team, providing exceptional support and care to individuals in various settings, including home, assisted living, and community environments. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those with diverse needs, including seniors, individuals with developmental disabilities, or those experiencing memory care challenges. The ideal candidate will be energetic, proactive, and committed to delivering personalized care that promotes independence, safety, and well-being. Urdu speaker is helpful to effectively communicate and build trust with clients and their families. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) Monitor patient health by taking vital signs, observing changes in condition, and reporting findings accurately Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety Administer medications following prescribed care plans in compliance with HIPAA regulations and safety protocols Support clients with memory care needs related to Alzheimer's disease or dementia through engaging activities and consistent routines Maintain detailed documentation of care provided, patient observations, and any incidents or concerns Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning living areas to ensure a safe and comfortable environment Skills Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification to respond promptly during emergencies Experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments Strong understanding of patient observation techniques, medication administration, and care planning Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), or memory-related conditions such as Alzheimer's or dementia Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and privacy of patient information Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team-oriented environment Join us if you're passionate about providing compassionate care in a dynamic setting!
