What You'll Do As a Residential DSP, you'll work as part of a supportive team helping individuals with daily routines, personal goals, and community involvement.

Responsibilities include:

Assisting with daily living skills and personal care Supporting meal preparation, laundry, and light housekeeping Administering medications (paid training provided) Providing transportation to appointments and community activities Completing documentation accurately and timely Promoting independence, dignity, and inclusion Ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of residents Flexible PRN Scheduling Our residential program operates 24/7, and PRN staff help cover: Call-outs Vacations Open shifts Emergency staffing needs You can indicate your availability during the application process.

PRN Requirement:

To maintain active PRN status, employees must work a minimum of 4 shifts during each 6-week scheduling period. Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years old High school diploma or GED required Valid U.S. driver's license with at least 2 years of driving experience Clean driving record, criminal background, and drug screen required Basic computer and keyboarding skills Ability to complete required trainings including CPR, First Aid, and Med Tech Certification Minimum of 1 year experience supporting individuals with disabilities preferred This position requires the ability to: Assist with a variety of personal care needs Lift and assist individuals with mobility needs Frequently stand, bend, push, pull, and reposition individuals Safely assist with transfers and wheelchair securement Use lifts and mobility equipment including Hoyer lifts Join a Team That Changes Lives If you are reliable, compassionate, and looking for flexible work with purpose, apply today to become a PRN Direct Support Professional with The Arc Carroll County!
