We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate

PSS/CRMA

to join our team in providing exceptional care to residents in our assisted living and nursing home facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in caregiving and be knowledgeable in medical terminology and anatomy. This role is crucial in ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of our residents while adhering to all HIPAA regulations. Responsibilities Provide personal care services to residents, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor residents for any side effects or changes in condition. Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, including medication administration records and resident progress notes. Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and implement individualized care plans for each resident. Ensure a safe and clean environment by following infection control protocols and maintaining hygiene standards. Assist with mobility and physical activities to promote resident independence. Engage residents in social activities to enhance their quality of life. Uphold confidentiality and respect the privacy of all residents in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Qualifications Previous experience in assisted living, nursing home, or home care settings is preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy is essential. Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality. Experience in hospice care or caregiving is a plus. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative when needed. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Certification as a Personal Support Specialist (PSS) or Certified Residential Medication Aide (CRMA) is required. A compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to improve the lives of others.
