Job Description
Join Our Team as an Awake Overnight Direct Support Professional (DSP) Make a difference—while helping others rest safely and comfortably. At Lee Residential Care, we're seeking compassionate, dependable individuals to join our team as Awake Overnight Direct Support Professionals (DSPs). In this role, you'll provide essential overnight support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities—ensuring safety, comfort, and continuity of care throughout the night. This is a great opportunity for someone who is attentive, calm, and thrives in a quieter work environment while still making a meaningful impact. What You'll Do As an awake overnight DSP, you'll play a key role in maintaining a safe and supportive environment during nighttime hours.
Responsibilities include:
Remaining awake and alert for the entire shift to ensure safety and supervision Monitoring individuals throughout the night and responding to any needs or concerns Providing assistance with overnight routines, including personal care when needed Supporting individuals who may wake during the night with reassurance and guidance Completing routine checks and documentation accurately and on time Preparing for the next day (light housekeeping, organizing, or prepping materials as needed) Communicating important updates to incoming staff to ensure continuity of care No Experience? No Problem. You do not need prior certification to apply. Lee Residential Care provides paid training and certification, so you'll feel confident and prepared in your role.
