Job Description
Join our team of energetic DSPs who want to make a difference and have fun doing it! At the end of the day you'll feel really good about your work and you'll be tired, but a good tired. There are opportunities all the time to get out and experience Maine...we go to Bar Harbor, walk local trails, catch a Sea Dogs game, participate in Special Olympics, walk the Bangor Waterfront, volunteer our time and talents, explore museums, go bowling, out to eat, fishing...if the members we support want to do it, we do it! A DSP is helping me write this ad and she said "I don't mean for this to sound wrong, but I have so much it doesn't feel like work". The schedule is 8 am to 4 pm. Our Day Program runs Monday through Friday. The only required weekend is the first weekend in June for State Special Olympics. Entry wage is $18...that's more than most retail and fast food jobs and is so much more rewarding. You must have a driver's license...no exceptions.
