Overview Join our dedicated team as a Personal Support Specialist (PSS), where you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals requiring assistance with daily activities and in home care needs. As a PSS, you will empower clients to maintain independence, promote safety, and support their overall well-being through attentive and respectful support. Skills Ability to perform lifting safely using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary Excellent communication skills for working with individuals with disabilities or cognitive impairments such as dementia Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality and privacy Experience working with diverse populations including seniors, individuals with developmental disabilities or memory impairments Ability to work independently while following detailed care plans and instructions Compassionate attitude combined with strong organizational skills for managing multiple client needs effectively.
