Days/Evenings/Overnights Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Personal Support Specialist (PSS) to provide in-home and/or facility-based care to clients who need assistance with daily living activities. The ideal candidate is patient, respectful, and committed to enhancing the quality of life for individuals while supporting their independence and dignity.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting Provide mobility assistance and support with transfers Help with meal preparation, feeding, and light housekeeping tasks Monitor and report changes in client condition or behavior Provide companionship and emotional support Follow individualized care plans and document services accurately Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients
Qualifications:
PSS certification (or willingness to obtain, depending on state requirements) High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous caregiving experience is a plus but not required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Reliable transportation and valid driver's license (if required for role) Ability to pass background checks and meet health requirements
