Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Home Care Manager to oversee the delivery of high-quality home health services. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of healthcare management, medical office operations, and personnel supervision. As a Home Care Manager, you will coordinate care teams, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, and manage administrative functions to support optimal patient outcomes and operational efficiency. This role offers an opportunity to lead a compassionate team committed to enhancing patient well-being in a home setting. Responsibilities Lead and supervise home care staff, personal support specialists and homemakers, fostering a collaborative and professional environment. Oversee daily operations of the home care program, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols, regulatory standards such as state licensing requirements. Coordinate with healthcare case managers, insurance companies, and patients to facilitate seamless care delivery and utilization management. Monitor quality assurance metrics and conduct audits to maintain compliance with healthcare standards and improve service quality. Develop staff training programs in medical terminology, medical administrative support, and clinical procedures to enhance team competency. Requirements Proven experience in healthcare management with a strong background in medical office management or clinic experience. Supervising experience within a home health or medical setting is essential. Proficiency in scheduling software, and other essential computer software as eneded ; experience with medical records and medical administrative support is required. Strong understanding of healthcare regulations. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams effectively. Background in medical terminology, managed care, utilization management, or hospital experience will be advantageous.
