Since 2009, the organization has grown to serve over 1,000 clients, emphasizing exceptional customer service and a professional, caring staff committed to maintaining independence and dignity for those in need. Job Overview We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Caregivers to join our team in providing essential non-medical home care services. The ideal candidates will possess a strong desire to support individuals with diverse needs, including seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those requiring memory or dementia care. This paid position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in clients' lives through personalized assistance and support. The available shifts are 9am-7pm Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. Monitor patients' health status by observing vital signs and reporting any concerns promptly. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements and assist with meal planning. Provide companionship and emotional support to foster a positive environment for clients. Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry. Support clients with medication reminders and adherence in accordance with care plans. Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident lifts safely when assisting with mobility needs. Follow all HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of patient information while delivering high-quality care. Qualifications Prior experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes is highly desirable. Knowledge of patient observation, vital signs monitoring, and basic nursing skills such as CPR and first aid certification. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, dementia, or Alzheimer's disease is preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required for resident transfers or mobility assistance. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality in healthcare settings. Valid certifications in CPR and first aid are required; additional certifications such as hospice or memory care training are a plus.
