Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in their own homes. This vital role involves delivering personalized care that promotes independence, safety, and well-being. As an In Home Caregiver, you will play a crucial part in enhancing the quality of life for clients by offering attentive, respectful, and professional care tailored to their unique needs. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives while working in a flexible and rewarding environment. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by observing vital signs, recognizing changes, and reporting findings accurately Administer medications following care plans and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client privacy Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary Support clients with memory care, dementia, Alzheimer's, or other cognitive impairments through specialized techniques and patience Use equipment such as Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices to safely transfer residents or patients Maintain detailed documentation of care provided, patient observations, and any incidents or concerns Qualifications Prior experience in home health, assisted living, nursing home, or group home settings is highly preferred Knowledge of first aid, CPR certification, and basic patient monitoring skills required Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or dementia is advantageous Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks safely when assisting residents with mobility or transfers Familiarity with care plans, medication administration, and HIPAA compliance necessary for delivering quality patient care Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients' families and healthcare teams Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are often required for travel between client homes Join us as an In Home Caregiver to provide compassionate support that empowers individuals to live comfortably and confidently in their own homes.
