Job Description

1:1 Caregiver
  • Ann Arbor, MI Work Skills Corporation (WSC) is seeking a compassionate and dependable 1:1 Caregiver to provide individualized support for a client in the Ann Arbor area.

Monday:
3:00 PM
  • 9:00
PM Friday:
3:00 PM
  • 9:00
PM Rotating Friday and Saturday:
3:00 PM
  • 9:00 PM Rotating weekends are required.
What You'll Do Provide hands-on assistance with activities of daily living while promoting independence and dignity. Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, budgeting, and maintaining a clean and comfortable home environment. Support the client with community integration by accompanying them to appointments, outings, and recreational activities. Use your own reliable vehicle to transport the client as needed. Mileage reimbursement is provided. Be comfortable working in a home with a friendly medium-sized dog and transporting the pet to veterinary appointments when necessary. What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED At least one year of caregiving experience Valid driver's license Reliable personal vehicle with proof of auto insurance Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (reasonable accommodations available) A compassionate, dependable, and person-centered approach to caregiving Why You'll Love Working With WSC Home-like environment
