Caregiver (Arabic Speaking) Canton, MI

Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver who is fluent in Arabic to join our team in Canton, MI . In this important role, you will provide personalized care and daily support to an elderly female client in her 80s who is living with dementia. Your kindness, patience, and positive attitude will help create a safe, comfortable, and supportive home environment where the client feels respected, valued, and cared for. Responsibilities Assist client with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Provide dementia care support , including supervision, redirection, and maintaining a calm routine Offer companionship and emotional support through conversation and engagement Prepare simple, nutritious meals according to client needs Perform light housekeeping (laundry, tidying, cleaning client's living space) Ensure client safety and report any changes in condition or behavior Support daily routine to promote comfort, structure, and well-being Follow care instructions and maintain professionalism at all times Qualifications Must be fluent in Arabic Prior experience in home care, assisted living, or dementia care preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality Ability to assist with personal care tasks safely CPR/First Aid certification is a plus Experience working with elderly clients or memory care patients is highly preferred Compensation $22 - $24 per hour (based on experience
