Home Health Aide / Caregiver (12-Hour Shifts)

Competitive - based on experience About the Position We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced Home Health Aide (HHA) or Caregiver to provide one-on-one care for an adult patient who receives in-home caregiving support . The ideal candidate will have experience with complex care needs, excellent communication skills, and a calm, patient-centered approach. Key Responsibilities Provide attentive personal care, including bathing , grooming, dressing, and toileting assistance as needed Assist with mobility, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises as directed Attend medical appointments with client Support feeding and hydration, including meal preparation and assistance as needed Monitor and report changes in the patient's physical or emotional condition to the supervising nurse or family Communicate with family regarding needs of daily life like supplies and groceries Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment Offer companionship and emotional support throughout the shift Follow established care plans and routines set by medical staff and family Assist with light housekeeping and laundry related to patient care Preferred Qualifications Home Health Aide (HHA) or equivalent experience Experience caring for patients with neurological conditions or requiring continuous support Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record Strong communication and teamwork skills Compassionate, patient, and trustworthy demeanor Schedule & Compensation 8 hour shifts Competitive pay based on experience and certification level
