Direct Care Worker 122 E Delaware St, Decatur, MI 49045 $17.25 - $18.75 an hour - Full-time $17.25 - $18.75 an hour - Full-time We have a Specialized AFC home in Decatur with immediate openings for 2nd and 3rd shift. Preference will be given to eligible drivers. We offer a compensation package that includes a starting wage of $17.25 per hour with a .25 raise after a 90-day orientation/training period and the opportunity to earn a shift premium between $0.50-$1.50 per hour, up to 72 hours paid sick time per year, profit sharing plan after 1 year, a cafeteria-style benefit package available after 90 days of employment which includes Telemedicine and your choice of vision, dental, cancer, life insurance etc… We are looking for reliable, compassionate, and understanding people to work with high-functioning MI individuals in a home-like setting. Duties include medication administration, assisting and supervising residents with daily life skills (ADLs), meal prep/clean up, maintaining a clean home environment, and activities/outings. Paid training is provided. Background check required.
