In this role, you will provide quality care and support to individuals with intellectual, developmental, physical, or behavioral disabilities while helping them maintain independence and improve their quality of life. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene).
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding when necessary.
- Administer medications as directed and document appropriately.
- Provide companionship, emotional support, and encouragement.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and transportation to appointments and community activities.
- Maintain accurate documentation and daily reports.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and supportive environment.
- Follow all company policies, care plans, and state regulations. Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous direct care, caregiving, CNA, home health aide, or healthcare experience preferred (training may be available).
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Schedule
