This vital role involves delivering personalized care, promoting independence, and ensuring the safety and well-being of clients across various care settings. As an In Home Caregiver, you will be a trusted companion and caregiver, making a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patients' health status by taking vital signs and observing for any changes or concerns Administer medications reminders following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and compliance Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs, including specialized diets such as Alzheimer's or dementia care Support patients with mobility using equipment like Hoyer lifts and gait belt or assist with heavy lifting when necessary Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities, observations, and progress in compliance with healthcare standards Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe living environment to promote overall well-being Qualifications 2 years Previous experience in home health, assisted living, nursing home, or group home settings preferred Knowledge of patient observation techniques and ability to monitor vital signs effectively Certification in CPR and First Aid required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training are a plus Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, Alzheimer's disease, or dementia preferred Ability to lift heavy objects safely and use assistive devices like Hoyer lifts and gait belts when necessary Strong communication skills with the ability to follow detailed care plans and document accurately Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve clients' quality of life Join us in providing compassionate, professional care that empowers individuals to live safely and comfortably at home.
