bethlehemchurchgr.org) through its ministry, Bethlehem Intergenerational Center (BIC). BIC provides a safe and nurturing senior daycare space with programming that meets the individual needs of every person we serve. The Caregiver shall be responsible for the care, safety, and enrichment of each participant and shall provide a person-centered approach to care in a manner which contributes to the individuality and wellbeing of each adult.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • CPR and First Aid Certification (preferred)
  • Experience providing care to geriatric patients (preferred)
  • Prior knowledge of and/or exposure to dementia/Alzheimer's patients (preferred)
Skills:
  • Warm, friendly, and passionate about intergenerational culture.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families.
  • Flexible and reliable.
Specific areas of responsibility include:
A. Assist with Personal Care of Participants including toileting. B. Engage, and foster friendships among participants, children, staff, and volunteers. D. Help maintain a safe, clean and orderly environment in the center. E. Maintain required records relating to client care and report any changes of condition.
