This role is ideal for someone with caregiving experience who enjoys training, mentoring, problem-solving, and helping caregivers feel supported and successful in the field.
Position Overview:
The Caregiver Manager / On-Call Manager will assist with caregiver hiring, training, retention, reviews, field support, and after-hours on-call coverage. This person must be comfortable walking into a variety of home care situations, helping caregivers through challenges, and setting the standard for high-quality care. This position includes after-hours on-call responsibilities, including two weekends per month. Responsibilities Include:
Assist with interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new caregivers Help train and mentor caregivers in the field Provide hands-on support when caregivers need guidance or additional training Assist with caregiver reviews, performance coaching, and retention efforts Help ensure caregivers understand Careology's expectations, policies, and care standards Support scheduling and staffing needs as needed Participate in after-hours on-call rotation, including 2 weekends per month Respond to urgent caregiver and client needs after hours Help cover or assist with shifts when needed Build positive relationships with caregivers, clients, and families Help inspire caregivers to provide compassionate, reliable, and professional care Communicate concerns, updates, and follow-up needs with office leadership Requirements:
Previous caregiving experience required Leadership, training, or management experience preferred Must be comfortable working with seniors and individuals who need personal care support Must be willing to walk into any care situation and help problem-solve Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation Must be comfortable driving throughout the Careology service area Must be comfortable with cats and dogs in client homes Must be dependable, professional, and calm under pressure Must have strong communication and documentation skills Must be able to pass a background check Service Area:
