Harbor Springs, MI PMP Personnel Services is partnered with a client in Harbor Springs to find compassionate and dependable Caregivers to join their growing team. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy helping others, building meaningful relationships, and making a positive impact in the lives of seniors and individuals who need daily support. What You'll Be Doing Assist residents with personal hygiene tasks, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting Support residents with meals, feeding assistance, and daily living activities Assist with medication reminders and prescribed care plans as directed Help residents with mobility, transfers, and ambulation Support physical therapy exercises and wellness activities when appropriate Plan and prepare meals and snacks as needed Perform light housekeeping and maintain a clean, safe living environment Accompany residents to appointments, shopping trips, and recreational activities when required Monitor resident well-being and report any unusual changes or incidents promptly Respond appropriately in emergency situations and follow established safety procedures Provide companionship, encouragement, and emotional support to residents Utilize equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary What We're Looking For Compassionate, patient, and supportive attitude Genuine desire to help others and provide high-quality care Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication and interpersonal skills Willingness to learn and continuously develop caregiving skills Ability to lift, move, and assist residents weighing up to 50 pounds Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Availability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Commitment to maintaining health and safety standards High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous experience as a Caregiver, CNA, HHA, or completion of a CNA program preferred Minimum of one year of experience in healthcare, hospitality, assisted living, or in-home care preferred Hoyer lift experience preferred Why You'll Like This Job Opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others Supportive and caring team environment Stable employment with a growing organization Rewarding work that builds lasting relationships with residents Opportunity to expand caregiving and healthcare skills Flexible scheduling options Meaningful career path in healthcare and resident services What to Expect This is a hands-on caregiving position in an assisted living environment. You'll spend your day assisting residents with personal care, mobility, meals, activities, and daily routines while helping ensure their comfort, safety, and well-being. The ideal candidate is dependable, compassionate, attentive, and committed to providing exceptional care. Physical requirements include frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and assisting residents with mobility and transfers. The work environment involves close interaction with residents and may require responding quickly to changing care needs and emergency situations.
