Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of care. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients, whether in a home, community, or facility setting. This role requires a blend of personal care skills, patience, and the ability to work with diverse populations, including seniors and individuals with developmental disabilities. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide personal care and support in various settings including home health, assisted living, and nursing homes. Monitor patient health by observing vital signs and reporting any changes to healthcare professionals. Implement care plans as directed by healthcare providers and assist with medication administration when necessary. Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks. Support individuals with disabilities or special needs, including those with Alzheimer's or dementia care requirements. Utilize equipment such as Hoyer lifts safely when assisting clients with mobility challenges. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information. Experience Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as home care, hospice care, or long-term care is preferred. Familiarity with patient observation techniques and monitoring vital signs is advantageous. Experience working with individuals who have developmental disabilities or autism is a plus. Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is highly desirable. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team are essential. A background in social work or nursing may enhance your qualifications for this role.
