Job Overview Join our compassionate team as an In-Home Caregiver, where your dedication, reliability, and warmth will make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring support with daily activities and companion care. You will be a trusted companion, assisting with essential tasks and ensuring a comfortable, respectful environment for those in your care. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patients' health status by taking vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature Administer medications accurately following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure patient safety Support clients with meal preparation, ensuring nutritional needs are met while accommodating dietary restrictions Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being and reduce feelings of isolation Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment Use specialized equipment like Hoyer lifts or transfer belts to assist with heavy lifting or transfers safely Document patient observations, care provided, and any changes in condition to ensure continuity of care Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans for each individual Maintain compliance with all healthcare regulations including HIPAA standards and confidentiality protocols Requirements Compassionate attitude with a commitment to providing respectful, person-centered care Proven experience in home & community care or assisted living environments; group home experience is a plus, but not necessary Ability to deliver exceptional care, communication and provide a 'white-glove' experience for the families we care for Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and care teams Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or overnight hours as needed Certification in CPR and First Aid is a plus; additional certifications such as Alzheimer's or dementia care are advantageous Ability to perform physical tasks including working with mobility aids like Hoyer lifts or resident lifts are a plus Join us in creating a positive impact through dedicated caregiving! $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
