Job Description
Position Summary Summit Park Assisted Living is seeking second shift resident aides to assist in the care of our residents! Resident Aides are responsible for providing high-quality, compassionate care to residents in an assisted living environment. This role supports residents with daily activities, promotes independence, and ensures a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment during the second shift. Key Responsibilities Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility Provide support with meals, including serving, feeding (if necessary), and monitoring intake Respond promptly to resident call lights and requests Monitor residents' physical and emotional well-being and report any changes to the supervisor or nurse Assist with evening routines, including preparing residents for bed Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment in resident rooms and common areas Document care provided and any notable observations accurately and in a timely manner Follow all care plans and facility policies and procedures Provide companionship and emotional support to residents Assist with activities and engagement as appropriate during the shift Communicate effectively with team members, residents, and families Shift Hours Second shift hours are from 2:00p-10:00p, with 40 hours per week Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods Ability to lift and/or assist residents (up to 50 lbs or more with assistance) Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations Adhere to all HIPAA and confidentiality standards Maintain professionalism and a positive attitude at all times Attend required trainings and staff meetings
