Job Description

Are you the caregiver everyone else relies on? Are you ready to step off the floor and into leadership? Safe Hands Warm Hearts is a rapidly growing home care agency serving over clients across Michigan. We don't want a corporate manager who doesn't understand the field; we want an exceptional, experienced caregiver who is ready to take the next step in their career. If you know what it takes to deliver total care, understand the daily challenges caregivers face, and are tech-savvy enough to learn the operational side of the business, we want to train you to be our next leader. The Mission Your goal is to ensure stability and quality of care for our clients by managing a team of caregivers in scattered locations. You will act as the "Care Conductor"—the central hub of communication between clients, your caregiver team, caseworkers, and our management team.
Key Responsibilities Field Leadership:
Draw on your own caregiving experience to train, shadow, and supervise caregivers. You are not just a supervisor; you are their primary support system and coach.
Complex Scheduling & Logistics:
Manage weekly schedules accounting for drive time and caregiver availability. Solve "call-off" puzzles quickly to ensure 100% shift coverage for vulnerable clients.
Professional Communication:
Act as the primary liaison for our external Case Managers, handling inquiries, incident reports, and service changes with total professionalism and speed.
Compliance & Tech:
Utilize our agency software (HHAeXchange) and payroll systems (ADP) to track attendance, ensure strict Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) compliance, and document all performance notes.
Quality Assurance:
Conduct home visits to assess client needs, update Plans of Care, and ensure safety and boundaries are maintained.
What We Are Looking For Heavy Caregiving Experience:
You must have significant, hands-on experience in senior care, behavioral health, or mental health. You know how to handle complex client situations safely and compassionately.
Supervisory Experience:
You have held a leadership role (Lead Caregiver, Shift Supervisor, or similar) and know how to hold peers accountable using "firm empathy."
Tech-Savvy:
You are highly comfortable with computers, mobile apps, and learning new software systems quickly.
Ambitious & Adaptable:
You are driven to grow your career alongside a fast-growing company and can adapt to changing daily priorities.
Mobility:
You possess a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle to travel to client homes and meet with staff across your designated counties.
What We Offer Performance Bonuses:
Competitive base pay plus a clearly defined quarterly bonus structure based on team retention and compliance.
Growth:
As our agency scales toward our statewide goals, your role and leadership opportunities will grow with us.
Benefits:
