Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance at Healing together AFC home. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and the ability to create a nurturing environment for residents. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those you care for, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a positive atmosphere. Administer medications as prescribed . Assist with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for residents. Maintain cleanliness in living areas and assist with light housekeeping tasks. Support individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia through tailored care approaches. Utilize Hoyer lifts and other assistive devices safely when transferring or repositioning residents. Document care provided accurately. Engage residents in social activities that promote mental stimulation and social interaction. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans. Experience Candidates should possess experience in caregiving or related fields such as: Group home / Assisted living facilities or nursing homes. Working with people with disabilities or developmental disabilities. Experience driving clients to appointments or activities.
