Position Summary AlaniCare LLC is hiring Home Care Aides / Caregivers to provide in-home support to clients throughout Wayne County and surrounding areas. Caregivers may assist clients with daily routines, personal care needs, light housekeeping, meal preparation, companionship, mobility support, and other non-medical care duties. The ideal candidate is patient, reliable, professional, and comfortable working one-on-one with clients in a home setting. Job Duties May Include Assist clients with daily living activities. Provide companionship and emotional support. Help with light housekeeping and maintaining a safe home environment. Assist with meal preparation and basic kitchen cleanup. Support clients with mobility, walking, or transferring when needed. Provide reminders for daily routines and appointments. Help clients with personal care needs, if required by the care plan. Observe and report changes in client condition or needs. Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times. Follow the client care plan and company expectations. Communicate with supervisors regarding scheduling, client updates, and concerns. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred, but not always required. Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply. Prior caregiving, home care, healthcare, or direct support experience is helpful but not required. Must be dependable, respectful, and compassionate. Must be able to follow directions and work independently. Must have good communication skills. Must be able to arrive to assigned shifts on time. Must be willing to complete required training and onboarding. Reliable transportation is preferred due to client home assignments. Must be able to pass any required background checks or employment screening. Preferred Skills Experience caring for seniors, individuals with disabilities, or family members. Basic understanding of personal care and home care support. Strong patience and customer service skills. Ability to work flexible shifts. Ability to build trust with clients and families. Ability to document and report client updates when needed. Schedule Full-time and part-time schedules may be available. Shifts can vary based on client needs and location. Applicants should be prepared to discuss their availability, preferred work areas, transportation, and schedule flexibility during the interview.
