As a Direct Care Worker, you will be responsible for providing Community Living Supports and Respite Care to families and individuals with disabilities in Wayne County. If you are compassionate, dependable, and love helping others thrive, this is the job for you!
Responsibilties:
Provide direct care and support that is respectful, compassionate, and tailored to individual needs. Assist with improving activities of daily living, such as dressing, bathing, maintaining living spaces, meal preparation, etc. Assist with fostering independence and confidence in the home and community by engaging in meaningful activities and learning opportunities. Accurately record client data and progress, while maintaining compliant records and documentation. Stay up to date on required training and credentials. Perform other duties as assigned by the Case Manager.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years old Valid Drivers License and access to reliable transportation Must be able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment TB test Must have or be willing to obtain CPR certification High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable. Shift availability Day Shift (Preferred) Afternoon Shift (Preferred) Weekends as needed (Preferred) Carevio Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Pay:
$14.00 - $15.00 per hour
